Virtual Earth Competition

Show off your creativity, sharpen your coding skills and you could win $1000!
Enter the Virtual Earth contest by developing your own "map app" using the Virtual Earth JScript map control and API. Then submit your entry before October 14, 2005.
The prizes are:
- Microsoft Streets & Trips 2005 with GPS for the first 25 entries received
- $1000 cash for the best entry, in the opinion of our judges
Submission
Submit your entry to competition@viavirtualearth.com by October 14, 2005. For a web-hosted application, send a link in your email submission. For a client-side application, attach a .zip archive containing the compiled executable, and a readme file with any instructions we'll need to install and run.
Judging Criteria
The $1000 winner will be based on:
- Ease of use / interaction model
- Graphic execution (cool & sexiness factor)
- Technical challenges overcome while developing your application
- Use of other technologies on application
- Number of potential users
