Dr. Neil Roodyn

Head Honcho

Dr Neil

Neil is an independent itinerant consultant, trainer and author. He travels the world working with software companies. He loves Australia, where he spends the summer enjoying the Sydney lifestyle and helping software development teams get more productive. He spends his other summer each year flying between northern Europe and the USA working with software teams and writing about his experiences.

He brings business and technical skills to the companies he works with to ensure he has happy customers. His latest book, eXtreme .NET, introduces eXtreme Programming Techniques to .NET developers. You can find out more from his website roodyn.com or you can email him at neil@roodyn.com.

(For those who can't tell and think it's just wierd: Neil is actually wearing the MSN butterfly hat in the photo.)

Tatham Oddie

Web Team

Tatham Oddie

Tatham likes to call himself a Digital Concept Consultant with a venture focus... In simpler terms, this basically means he's trying to reinvent the dot com boom. Why - because preschool commitments such as finger painting distracted him during the last one.

Based in Sydney, he operates Fuel Advance, a digital concept consultancy that focuses on delivering cutting edge, visually dynamic web based solutions that intelligently communicate and enhance your business.

He also provides .NET consulting for a number of local ISVs, and presents regularly at the NETUG and SDNUG as well as other training courses. You can find out more by emailing him at tatham.oddie@fueladvance.com.

Tom Harvey

Web Team

Tom Harvey

Tom, like Tatham, is also trying to reinvent the dot com boom with his venture focus. While he was substantially more advanced than Tatham at the time (having progressed to year one and mastered the pen) he also missed the boat.

Stretching himself between client meetings, business modeling, pixel pushing, and grumbling when the pixels don't line up, he also finds magical ways to make the loose change jar turn into weekly rent.

Based in Sydney, he operates Fuel Advance, a digital concept consultancy that focuses on delivering cutting edge, visually dynamic web based solutions that intelligently communicate and enhance your business. You can find out more by emailing him at tom.harvey@fueladvance.com.
